The Problem

When I moved from Pojoaque Valley High School to the local high school in Espanola, I felt good that I did it to help save my parents some money. There were some drawbacks, however. Espanola Valley High School didn't offer a Ski Club like Pojoaque did and many kids were not involved in any sports or extracurricular activites. Espanola is known for having a much higher drop-out rate than average. This is mostly due to the fact that it is extremely easy to ditch school and when studetns don't ditch, there isn't any type of incentive for staying in school. I want to solve this problem in my community immediately.

Plan of Action

=I have done extensive research into organizing this club and have covered such issues as transportation, liability, eligibility, and have met all school regulations. My enrollment packet into the club has been reviewed by the principal and teacher chaperones and they have deemed it a cause worthy of thier approval.
