The Problem

Skype 4 Life hopes to decrease lonliness in children admitted to children's hospitals. Many children that unfortunately need to stay extended time in hospitals struggle to keep a positive attitude and due to family circumstances are often left alone. Skype 4 Life wants to donate netbooks/laptops to children's hospitals for patients to keep in touch with family, friends, classmates, and school work through an available webcam and skype.

Plan of Action

Through a class assignment we are taking this project to the next level to look for funding to purchase the netbooks/laptops through for donations. So far a grant proposal has been drafted for applications and fundraisers are being created. Through the grants and fundraisers we hope to purchase at least 10-20 netbooks for a local children's hospital. We hope to continue to expand nationwide.
