the problem:
I am trying to give awareness on teenage depression and suicide. I want to help teens get through the tough times knowing that there is someone there that cares and understands.I have been down the road of depression and seen the darkness. Now I want to share my light with teens in the dark.

5why it's important:
This is so close to my heart because I have been there. I overdosed on my anti-depressants in Feburary of 2009, I went down a hard road and then started this club to help other teens. I know I felt all alone, but now I know there is atleast one person suffering silently somewhere close to me.
the plan of action:
An all school assembly and a club with meetings talking to troubled teens. An all school assembly will target the students silently suffering, but also the students that want to ask for help but are scared. It will also give people without depression or mental illnesses closure of how to help others in need during this hard time of their life. It helps not only people suffering but people who know someone suffering.
how you can get involved:
I can help others by providing a hand to hold, someone to look at that got through it. Although these people feel so alone atleast someone can tell them they arent alone and that someone is there to help.
