The Problem

For the past few years, I have arranged small music shows in my town consisting of teen bands from around the area. However, last year I was unable to arrange a single show because there was no venue that wanted to deal with a "bunch of rowdy teens". I want this teen music festival to show my town and the surrounding area the importance of popular teen music.

Plan of Action

Working with Bay Area Music Club, high school students involved in promoting youth music, I am currently in the process of renting a venue, lighting, sound, and staging equipment, hiring staff and security, and talking to band managers about their artists performing. I am about to start sending letters to possible sponsors, and also applying for other grants.
