South Carolina Teen Institute

the problem:

South Carolina Teen Institute is a group that high school students across the state of South Carolina can join to empower their classmates to refuse drugs and alcohol. The group meets three times a year at trainings across the state to learn new tatics of empowering their peers. This program is very successful at prevention substance abuse, violence, teen pregenacy, and high school drop-out rates.
