The Problem

This is the first month that we started a new progam in our DoSomethingClub, that we call Special Buddies Our goal for this program is to interact with our special ed classrooms at our high school. We plan to have a special event or activity with the Special Ed students every month.

Plan of Action

We received donated pumpkins from the Hesperia Pumpkin Patch and we allowed the special ed students and Silverado High School's Hawks Nest Preschool to pick their pumpkins. After all had choosen their pumpkins we went into a classroom and helped the students and kids decorate their pumpkins with stickers,paint and etc. Our club has also partnered with San Bernardino county of Schools Special Ed and includes them in all our events.
