The Problem

To help spread the awareness of Juvenille Diabetes so that the warning signs can be seen and caught early, or so that prevention can occur.

Plan of Action

I used "Spreading the Awareness of Juvenille Diabetes" as my platform when competing in the Miss Stanly County 2007 pageant where I won the crown and was able to speak to elementary and middle schools across my county, as well as groups at hospitals, roatary functions, and other community events to share information about the disease, raise funds, and share Daniel's story.
