St. Johnsbury Strikers Summer Youth Soccer Program

the problem:

For my senior project at school, I am starting a youth soccer program that will be open to children grades 5-8. It will be low cost, so that it will be available to low-income families in the area. Also, this program will run in the summer, when there is currently no soccer program available for children who want to play. The money that I raise will buy equipment for the program that will then be donated to the St. Johnsbury Recreation Department. I will also be looking for donations to help purchase tee-shirts for the children. Hopefully my program will help get children interested in sports and physical activity, thus promoting a healthier lifestyle.
