I have alot of friends who owned suped-up cars, with incredible fast exausts and engines, and all of the above. The problem is, they go racing every friday night looking for different people who also owned suped-up vehicles and they, in fact, do find them. Statistics say that 16 teens a day die from car wrecks, these guys are my FRIENDS and I will not stand aside and watch them waste thier lives for a night of fun and adreniline, and possibly, there are many other people that think the same about their friends. We can take a stand, as inside sources people with close relationships with these kids that risk their lives every day for "fun". I have an idea to get as many flyers and posters for a "racers convention" at BCC and show them video testimonials and have a good speaker who was once in the racing scene come and tell his testimony about how his life was changed one night because of the racing scene, and have interactive conversations/activities during the time. My really close friend is a motivational speaker with R 5 Productions (r5online.com). This idea would be very helpful and fruitful, also because BCC in the past, has a huge effect on the community in Bellevue. I Dream now.
