In today's society, trying to stay fit and healthy can be very difficult, demanding much time and effort to acquire a goal, time and effort that many people might not have. So step by step makes staying fit and healthy easier by requiring less time and effort to reach a goal. By taking a long term healthy living goal and dividing it up in smaller incriments, it becomes much easier for a person to stick to a goal. Step by step does just that. For example, if a person wishes to lose 80 lbs. within five months, instead of trying to accomplish that goal in one giant step, step by step divides up that goal and sets smaller goals easier to reach in a short amount of time, ultimately leading to the long term goal. For example, for the person trying to lose 70 lbs., that person would set a goal of losing 4 lbs. a week by eating two or three fruits and vegtables a day for one week. After that week is complete, the person would set a new goal for the next week, idealy a little bit more difficult than the goal set for the first week, like running an somewhere around 3 miles for that week and also continuing to do the goal from the previous week. The person would continue this process week after week, step by step, until the long term goal is reached. This process would help lead to a better healthy life, whatever healthy living goals the person chooses, even if they don't achieve the long term goal, as long as they achieve a weekly goal, which will bring them closer to a healthy life.
