The Problem

We hope that the trip will inspire university members to increase their involvement in the education system as well as learn from other members of the NYU and NYC communities. In addition, the trip is particularly geared toward community service as we will be hosting students from a disadvantaged community so that they will have a special opportunity to visit a local producer of organic, sustainable foods.

Plan of Action

Our organization would like to sponsor 20 "at risk” students from an economically disadvantaged NYC public school and 30 NYU students on a visit to Stone Barns Farm, an environmentally conscious farm in the Hudson River Valley of New York.
