Stop Gangs

the problem:

The majority of young peoples in my community are in gangs. On week days youth are hanging on the streets corner soon as they get out of school at 3 pm, and on the weekend they are out gang banging all days and nights. There are lot gangs’ fights and guns violent involve. To me the youth don’t have anything good or fun to do, so that’s why they are out on the street representing their sets by fighting others different gangs. There are only a few girls who are involved in gangs or using drugs, but they play a big part in gangs’ action, because they are the ones who move the most drugs, guns, and many more negativity in and around my community without been caught.
It’s either if the kids tell you which gang they in or they lie to you. Most of the times when you asked them, they tell you they are not in any gangs because they know that gang banging is wrong, but all their age groups are in gangs so it’s fun for them to join in and be a part of something.
Not all the youth want to be in gang,so the ones who's not any gangs are scare to fight back, to fight by them self, to fight back for their rights, or to tell the police what happen. The only ways they get that fear off is by picking and joining a gang which they like or joining the one in their neighborhood. Therefore, when you in a gangs you are limited on place where you can go.
