The Problem

Sometimes students need visual aids to fully understand a subject. Once they see it, feel it, smell it, they fully understand what it's all about. We want to educating students about science, math, the environment, through art. We want to build a children's garden where students can see, touch, smell and sometimes taste what they are learning about.

Plan of Action

We want to build a sensory, herb garden where students can touch, smell, plant, and taste plants. They will learn how the plants are important in health, the environment and in science. Students will participate by planting in the garden, then learning about the importance of each plant - (Is the plant a pollinator, Is it a host plant, can we eat it??) These lessons will be value to students for years to come.
