student maintained educational garden
the problem:
Not enough people know about the environment and the problems that’s going on with it, I would love to teach and inform other people about the science of the environment. It’s such a beautiful thing, that people take for granted.

15why it's important:
While teaching and informing people, I want to do something for the environment at the same time, kind of like killing 2 birds with one stone. and by doing that I want to build a student lead garden, half of the garden I would like to be a native plant garden, with information on the plants so students can learn about them, the other half I would like to be a food garden, full of fruit and vegetables.
the plan of action:
I need to get a hold of the school district and see if it I can do this on the property. Then I’m putting a bulletin board in my hallway that will inform other students what’s going on and if they have any suggestions on what they would like in the garden. And then getting grants so I have money to actually put this project on a roll!
how you can get involved:
I have other students that are interested in a school garden, they are younger so they can carry on this project when my senior year is done.
