The Problem

My group is dedicated to learning about the conflict between China and Tibet. We are also promoting awareness about the issue in our own community; many people in the South Bronx are not aware of the conflict there. Our main goal is to help Tibetans fight for thier own country.

Plan of Action

Our plan is to do research on the history of Tibet and how China came to occupy the country. We already have some members who are commited to learning more about the conflict. After this takes place, we will put up more posters around the school to inform students and staff about the mission of the club. During a school event, we were able to cook food originated from Tibet for people who attend. We will later have information sessions to recruit more members after the school has become a bit more familiar with the club and its goals. In the future, we hope to do some fundraising to send money directly to people in Tibet.
