Students at Lamphere High School wanted to help out around the community. The Major Events program organized and impacted the first ever "book drive." All of the proceeds from the Major Events Sponsored Powder Puff game were donated to this cause. Aside from the $700 that were raised, students had a chance to bring in books. Two weeks after the game, Students began to bring in gently used or new books for the students in the detriot public school area. Over 500 books were collected for this wonderful cause!
