The Problem

SPARK stands for Students Partnering and Reaching Kids. It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2010 by Shelley and Shreya Jain. Our nation's youth is plagued with low self-esteem as a result of media and society. Teens and children alike need to get active in their community, develop leadership skills, and learn to believe in themselves. SPARK uses the power of mentoring to accomplish this goal.

Plan of Action

Teens will help organize assemblies that cater to children ages four through twelve. The assemblies will consist of PowerPoint presentations, motivational speeches, and engaging activities. The will teach young children the importance of setting goals for yourself, believing in yourself and your potential, and ultimately achieving your goals. Students also engage in service projects to get involved in their community and raise their self esteem with the knowledge that they are making a difference.
