*Support School Success...Be a Lunch Buddy!
the problem:
Mentoring works! Research shows that kids with a caring adult or older youth role model do better in school and in life. You can be that person that makes a difference in a child's life. Partnership Academy K-6 Charter School serves a 90% Latino, almost 100% low income population. PA and PPL (www.ppl-inc.org) want to make sure that-really-no child is left behind.

I've been involved in mentoring for years and I love it-being a friend and supporting a child is so powerful-you see their self-confidence rise over time and that's just the beginning.
the plan of action:
Join us at Partnership Academy (Richfield, MN)-spend 40 minutes with a "Little Buddy" once a week for the school year for friendship, conversation, and recess (soccer, jungle gym, whatever you and your student like to do!). It's simple, but it works. Si se puede!
