TAP for Life fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
the problem:
Our club is selling pink-ribbon merchandise to raise money for the Susan B. Komen Foundation. We all know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and it is imperative that a cure is found.

10why it's important:
About 6 months ago, one of our members lost a good friend to breast cancer leaving behind two teenage children. Just a few days ago, another one of our members lost her aunt after a long and painful battle, leaving behind two little girls ages 4 and 8. We are determined to raise money to put an end to this disease. This is important to us because we love our mothers, and everyone deserves to have their mothers around for a long time.
the plan of action:
Each of us donated $20 to buy merchandise with the pink-ribbon symbol on it (pencils, pens, mouse-pads, notebooks, etc). We have been selling the merchandise to raise money. So far we have raised about $600.00 but we plan to raise about $900.
how you can get involved:
We want to thank all those people who have generously bought things from us and oftentimes given additional donations to the cause.
