The Problem

Poverty is an issue world wide. As a teen, I know that one thing I can't live a day without is a comfy pair of jeans. I hope that this drive gives 80 homeless teens something that they, too, can simply feel comfortable wearing everyday.

Plan of Action

I incorporated Teens for Jeans into my Sweet 16 birthday party by simply asking all of my invitees to bring with them any slightly worn jeans that they would like to donate to another teen. When arriving at the party, all of the guests happily dropped their numerous jeans in large buckets at the door covered in signs about the Teens for Jeans drive. At the end of the night, 80 pairs of jeans were bagged and ready to be sent to those in need of them.
