Vital Stats

See It

Two years ago, some friends and I started a group at our school called Tolerance, Acceptance, and Fairness for the Free-thinking Youth (TAFFY Club). The first year we had trouble with the school administration, and not much happened. This last year, however, went great. We now have 30 members, and we are still growing. We participated in "Mix It Up at Lunch Day", we had a fundraiser for orphans around the world, and we organized a community art show. We also discussed tolerance issues in our school during monthly meetings. Next year, we will probably be having a fundraiser for the RAWA, the Revolutionary Association of Women in Afghanistan (see www.rawa.org). We think that by helping people around the world as a school we can help unite our school.
