TCKidz.com is an online social community for parents of the Treasure Coast, a highly affluent area of the East Coast of Florida spanning from Indian River County to Martin County. In an area where the majority of "expendable" income rests in retirees, political legislation seems destined to favor this demographic while being harmful to the local working families that make the area what it is. Kids are being blamed for their involvement in "gang related activities" and kicked out of local malls for the color of the clothing they wear (I swear).Kid friendly events, activities, media outlets and more is few and far between. As a young mother, I started TCKidz as a way for parents to interact with each other, stay up to date on the latest news and legislature effecting their lives and find information to empower their endeavors as entrepreneurs, role models and most of all, parents.
