In order to start up my organization, I had to learn how to screen print so that I could put my own designs on the shirts. I also did research to find the most sustainable way of preparing my items. I found a shirt company out of Boulder, Colorado that produces bamboo, organic cotton, and hemp t-shirts. Once I got the process down, I began selling the shirts at local farmer's markets and festivals. To date, I have sold over 270 shirts and recently started making bamboo fleece hooded sweatshirts. Every time I start talking to somebody about my efforts, I am met with encouragement. I've had many customers come back for multiple shirts.
