MISSION STATEMENT TACTICC is a non-profit organization which seeks to provide an avenue for teenage artistic endeavors in the form of annual theatrical productions. By combining traditional elements of method acting with the emerging field of interactive theatre, TACTICC will allow the community to serve as more than passive observers. This original style of acting will be a catalyst for a symbiotic relationship of actor and audience working together towards a common goal, their interchange of ideas and passions resulting in something more than can be contained by the stage, that is, the realization of a shared dream. OBJECTIVES • To Utilize family entertainment to appeal to a broad audience base. • To Perform at a variety of venues to increase awareness of our mission and a general appreciation for The Creative Arts. • To Employ the creative arts a tool to engage in large scale community building and strengthening. • To Give back to the community through charitable performances and donations on an annual basis • To Provide an outlet for the free expression of the brimming creativity of Carroll County teens. • To Educate and Inspire Carroll County teens and the community about the Creative Arts. • To Create lasting memories within the hearts of all participants to ensure the mission is something to be revered rather than accomplished We will have community based performances throughout Carroll County. We are direcly working with the Carroll County Public Libraries' summer Reads program to encourage reading. We will perform dance a longs and sing-a-longs in the libraries. We will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade at Westminster MD, participating in Mayfest in Mt. Airy and hopefully performing in Nursing Homes and Day Care Centers throughout the area. We want to bring the community together through the creative arts. We will be performing "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" and "GodSpell".
