I would go into the community and churchs hand out flyers inviting teen to come out to an open house in the park or community center. I would have food, the explorers program that (is under the boys scouts) so the teen can see the opportunities for teens to get involved in. I would have speakers come out from support groups, doctor's offices, hopitals pre-natal staff, police officers to talk about the death rates of infants by teen parents. Teens that have children and who are pregnant now as a teen ages 14 - 16 and ages 17-18. I would have colleges come out also just to give a them a glance of what could be. Help teams would be on site to assist in any questions or passing out information from all of the vendors, baby stores and guest organizations. I would ask each teen that come thorugh to fill out an entry form for one of the door prizes and in signing the form they would give us permission to send them a calendar of up coming events. The goal would be to get the teens interested enough to keep coming to events and educating new parents or soon to be parents about the help they can get and how to spend wisely on things they need.
