Teens for Jeans

the problem:

Many destitute teens are on the streets with just the clothes on their back trying to survive. Teens for Jeans will provide teens with pairs of jeans.

why it's important:

As teens ourselves, we want to help our generation off the streets and into the classroom. If it was us out on the streets trying to survive, we would be more than glad to accept donated pairs of jeans!

the plan of action:

PUBLICIZE, PUBLICIZE, PUBLICIZE! The more people know, the better. We first took the initiative to call the nearest Aeropostale to set up the jeans drive then our mission began to inform the student body at our school about the drive by posting fliers, announcements, and handing out information. We also urged club members to bring in their old jeans for club points. After finally reaching the deadline, we hauled all the jeans to Aeropostale with a whopping total of 356 pairs of jeans! Although we didn't reach our goal of 500, we are still glad to have collected that much, knowing that every pair will impact a person.
