We took huge boxes and put them all over town. They let us put them in the public library, the town hall, a consignment store, 4 local schools, and we even had permission to set up a table at the weekly farm market. We also got support from the local paper; they put a small ad in asking the community to take unwanted jeans to the above places for donating. We also posted flyers all over town telling of where people could drop off their jeans. The mayor saw us at the farm market for 4 weeks in a row, and said he would put a mention in his online newsletter to the community. Everyone was on board! I think the community feels good that it could do something so easy to help so many people.
