The Problem

We are trying to clothe homeless teens through Do Something's Teens for Jeans campaign. We are trying to help our fellow youth. This generation is tomorrow's future. It is important to give everyone equal opportunity, and make them feel the same as everyone else. By simply giving a pair of blue jeans we can allow that ideal to happen.

Plan of Action

We hosted a small jeans drive aiming to raise at least 50 pairs of jeans between 15 of us. In addition, we also wanted to use social media and word of mouth to get people to give back. We ended up hitting our goal, and then some by raising, 65 pairs of jeans in the end. You can also view our use of social media by following the link on this project page. That link will take you to our promotional video that Bangor Do Something club made for the Teens for Jeans Campaign. We have had a significant impact because we have shown how a small group can give big. In addition we have inspired a few of our peers to take action. The more young people that take action the better this world will be.
