The Problem

Teens Together is a support group for students in Howard County who have been affected by cancer. The group is teen led, but facilitated by a social oncologist. Before Teens Together, there were no support groups in the area that offers what Teens Together does.

Plan of Action

This project took nearly 6 months to plan. Through the generous support of our sponsors, we were able to have a meeting place, a professionally printed flyer, and a social oncologist. We had our kick off event in May 2010. Since then, Teens Together has been meeting monthly. My partner and I who started this meet often to plan Teens Together and to expand its participation.
