Tenrok is a new establishment built on sole intention to build the community and help take back what belongs to us; the youth. The mission statement is to stregnthen the hands and feeble knees, to straighten paths of the youth and communties on the road to righteousness through tough love, honesty, hard work and eagerness to learn. Tenrok was created by the sole proprietor, Sharon Fulton in which she is a 23 year old single mother of two wonderful boys. This is one of the greatest reasons she has decided to create an organization that will establish the community and make a change for a new day. Growing up in Baltimore City has giving me an advantage to understanding what minority and youth need in order to overcome many obstacles that may challenge us in everyday life. One thing the youth very well needs is understanding; today in this harsh reality they feel that everyone is an opponent. Challenging them without giving a chance to be heard, the youth seem to never break through barriers that are needing to be resolved. Tenrok will have onsight counselors to not only listen but to also provide solutions in each and every different situation. We will network with different organization in order to provide a wider range of activities, services and solutions to youth and communities. Services may include and will not be limited to Providing food, clothes, community services, arts & entertainment, counseling, curricular activities, job and life skills, employment, spiritual resources and more. These services will be available to all the youth and communities in need.
