The Beanstockd Project is a social enterprise whose goal is to erase the negative social stigma attached to environmentalism (ie: granola, tree-hugging, hippie), to modernize the environmental movement for our demographic: the millenials, the net-savvy followers of pop culture. The first phase of the project -- the Beanstockd Blog -- delivers the most up-to-date news in pop culture and celebrity gossip with a green twist; with every pop-culture article, our talented writing team spins in a contextually-related piece of environmental news, tips, or facts to allow people to stay in-the-know on environmental issues through the entertainment news they are actively searching for. Environmentalism doesn't have to be lame, and we aim to give people like us a new, entertaining, addictive way to get involved.
