The Little Owl Mentoring Program

The Little Owl Mentoring Program has paired over 160 mentees (young writers) with 150 mentors (experienced adult writers) through the online community. The program is now proposing to expand in order to include incarcerated young writers in Los Angeles, publish their work in an anthology, and work towards spreading the program to other incarceration facilities. The youth who experience this program find freedom in their writing and sharing it with others.
