why it's important:

This group is important to me because I want young women to understand their value, beauty, and potential. I hold these groups because I believe in the importance of leadership and I am passionate about helping others become better individuals mentally and spiritually who possess power and a willingness to be free from the obstacles that life may bring.

the plan of action:

When I began this project, I wanted to be a light and a push of inspiration to young women I knew could make a difference. It started when I read a book called "Woman Thou Art Loosed" by Bishop TD Jakes and this book opened my eyes to a lot of things I had been dealing with in my own personal life and I this book was so impactful that I wanted to share it with others as well as add some teaching material of my own. So many girls who have attended the group have said how much the meetings have become a safe haven for them to be free and slowly transform into the woman that they secretly want to be.
