The Most Important Lesson Plan will begin to take affect during the 2008-2009 school year in the second largest Illinois School Elementary School District 54 with 14,000 students.
The most Important Lesson Plan will teach kids in elementary school about "Good Touch/Bad Touch, Not Keeping Secrets, Safety Plan, Abuse Awareness and Prevention."
We live in a country that has a law called "No Child Left Behind" yet everyday children are being left behind and failed the most valuable information on how to protect themselves from abuse.
Children are educated on fire and weather safety, stranger danger, DARE programs, not nothing that educates them about people that they may trust and know that might try to hurt them and how to protect themselves and tell an adult if someone is touching them inappropriately.
It is a lesson plan that never came for me as a child as a result I stayed silent as a grown man silenced me at seven years old and then again another man at eleven years old. Society does not want to realize how big an epidemic this is I am standing up and speaking out waking up society to the silent epidemic that is impacted the lives of innocent children everywhere.
The goal is to hopefully have this school district be an example for the entire state and other school districts in Illinois will begin to use it in following years and one day a bill will be passed in congress that mandates all public schools to educate kids on abuse.
