the problem:

On a broad spectrum, the mission of the Uganda Education Project is to provide funds, materials, and human assistance to the education, care and maintenance of the orphans and vulnerable children of Uganda. To make leeway, we are starting the project by focusing our attention on ensuring that every child enrolled in the Nansana Community Primary School has the opportunity to attend Secondary School, and further their education. The school is home to 75 orphans, and an additional 325+ attend school there. They are bright, positive, unselfish children that need many vital resources to enable a successful childhood and transition to adulthood.

why it's important:

It is important because anyone can sympathize for the these children if they meet them face to face. The kids are determined, bright pupils lacking the resources to accomplish their great ambitions. The organization's objective is to provide support to these vulnerable children for all aspects of their day to day lives, including health, food and education. One of the greatest ways anyone can support them is by volunteering at their school, and living with them and providing them with the love and attention they are so deprived of.
