The Problem

Nuclear weapons production facilities have left a legacy of radioactive contamination in surrounding U.S. communities. This has translated into environmental degradation and alarming rates of cancer and other illnesses related to radiation amongst families in these communities.

Plan of Action

I moved to the Espanola Valley with the vision of building a healthy and sustainable community and am working to accomplish that through educating, training, and mobilizing local youth to speak out against nuclear injustice and engage in positive alternatives with the Think Outside the Bomb (TOTB) network.
