The Problem

The Childcare center I work with helps homeless and low-income families in the Snohomish County area in Washington, with a prority in children.

Plan of Action

I started volunteering at the childcare center because I love working with children and it honestly sounded fun. I found this organization from my child development teacher who recemmended it to me. I then contacted them through email and got a reply and an application within the week. I spend two and a half hours there every Thursday helping in whatever room they have the greatest need in. The ages range from four weeks old to five years old in the building I help in.
