2nd Annual Toronto Int’l Portuguese Film Festival Needs You (June 28th - July 8th, 2007) SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS: - Volunteer captains - Food and Beverage Servers - Marketing Lead/Assistant - Promotions Assistants (postering and handing out flyers at various events) - Event Co-ordinator Assistant - Sponsorship Lead/Assistant - Photographer (for events) - Ticket Sales Lead/Handlers - Editor (written Portuguese) - Ushers and ticket takers ORIENTATION SESSIONS: May 26 @ 3pm & June 5 @ 6:30pm - 833 King Street West - Corner of King and Niagra - 2 blocks west of Bathurst - Use door to the left of the entrance BENEFITS: Gain valuable experience in event planning, coordinating screenings, venue scouting, and marketing services. Credits listed in official Program. IDEAL CANDIDATES: Should be able to and enjoy organizing and managing people. Should be interested in the film industry, fundraising and/or marketing.
