a Touch of Home

I plan to use my Christmas money of $500.00 to purchase items that are in need hygiene products, books and postage to send to them. I hope to send the first 50 packages to soldiers that have nothing (no family or loved ones at home). Then I plan to recruit students to write letters to the soldiers, thanking them for their service and allowing all of us the ability to get an education. I will contact support groups of moms with service men and women overseas, needing packages to go to their sons and others. I hope to send 50 packages per month and bump it up to 200 when school is out of session. I hope to eventually send phone cards, cameras (to capture their experiences for home), socks, redi-wipes, music, baked goods, etc... and send these packages until all of our troops are home!
