The Problem

The Town of Circle is pursuing assistance in renovating and improving our municipal park to make it more community-friendly and more accessible for area events. We are committed to providing a safe, healthy atmosphere for young and old to grow and live in harmony in Circle and in McCone County. It is our intent to begin renovations on the park during spring and summer 2010, with a projected budget of $21,570 and thus far, the Redwater Community Foundation and the Town of Circle have raised $4,650. The Town of Circle’s annual operating budget to maintain the park is approximately $20,000 and currently is unable to meet the financial needs of renovating the park.

Plan of Action

The park project is divided into two phases: Phase One- removal of cacti/other pestilence, purchase of new outhouses, grass re-seeding, and restoration of pre-existing playground equipment via fresh paint and supplies (to be completed in Spring 2010); and Phase Two- purchase of a new playground equipment module (to be completed by Spring 2011). It is the goal of this project to involve individuals, community groups, and youth groups to come together to address community needs and its future.
