The Problem

The purpose of my club is to raise child abuse and sexual violence awareness, and we wanted to do something for Christmas. We decided to do a toy drive and take to places that have kids that have been physically and sexually abuse, and make their Christmas better.

Plan of Action

I decided to do a toy drive. We look for different places that we could take the toys to, and we found out that the Women's Club in Covina deliver toys to different organizations with kids that have been abused. Therefore, we talked to the President of the Club, and she said it was good idea. We went to every class to make announcements about the toy drive, and the day we were going to be wrapping the toys. We went twice a week, and surprisingly people were bringing toys and donating money. Even teachers were participating. We did this for 2 months and we got a big amount of money and lots of toys. I was very glad people were helping out cause.
