The Problem

The mission of this project is to inspire people toward self and communal healing through herbal remedies, art,travel, and storytelling. By traveling to different parts of the world and collecting stories of inspiration, positive change, and herbal remedies we are compiling a repository for people to turn to in times of trial or for general sustenance and reference.

Plan of Action

We plan to share through media and online site and forum: creative video, photography, writing and/or audio By interviewing artists that have this belief in the power of plants and story as healing. As well as interviewing herbal and alternative healing practitioners, traveling to these places (experiencing and covering what is unique to each place), experimenting using teas, and ancient practices, discovering plants indicative to these areas, learning how to apply, hearing the stories behind each practice (ancient, traditional) Events and Forum - Inviting practitioners, artists/ media makers involved and knowledgeable about the healing arts to share information and speak about their practices. Artists and media makers displaying artwork infused with these ideas of healing, ethno botany, etc
