Treats for Troops

the problem:
We are collecting halloween candy to send to troops overseas

1,000why it's important:
We want to give something to our troops and becanuse it is close to halloween we are sending candy
the plan of action:
We have collection bins in our high school and in our elementary school for the candy
how you can get involved:
Any extra holloween candy could be brought for our collection bins

Hello, our 4-H club is doing Trick or Treat for can goods for the local food bank as well, but this is cool idea. We are curently working on Operation Shoebox Troops, but the kids like this idea as well, but we are in WV how would we link up with you guys just to send candy. My sons father is overseas.

My first grade class organized this with our entire school as well! As a school we were able to collect over 115 pounds to send over to the troops. I'm excited to hear others are doing this as well!!
