The Problem
The kids at Family Centers do not have a lot to do. Often their lives are filled with troubles that are not easily fixed.
Why It's Important
We beleive that the appilcation of music can take kid's minds off of their troubles and turn their angst into something positive. Music has a huge influence on kid's lives and we love to see it applied properly.
The Plan Of Action
We are teaching little toddlers how to play music. We go with the little kids after school twice a week for an hour and we play music with them. We also introduce them to new types of music and have a recital for them.
How Can Others Get Involved?
Help teach the kids music. We need volunteers to help teach piano, voice, drums, guitar and saxaphone.
