The Problem

A teacher in Turkmenistan and her daughter were living without enough water to take more than one bath a week. The pipes in her apartment were still from Soviet rule. She has been giving an extraordinary effort to teach her students English to prepare them for an important FLEX exam.

Plan of Action

Our group went door to door every day in one week and raised $800 dollars. We printed off flyers to explain our cause and went through two whole neighborhoods. Meanwhile, our group began to grow in members to work on larger projects.
