[u]Turn Your World Around[/u] is a social-change portal founded and operated by Aandolan, an organization started by a teen in 2003. Translated from Hindi as a movement for change, Aandolan both implements social-change initiatives and provides youth with the tools to become changemakers. Run entirely by teens, Aandolan sees youth as a powerful force capable of effecting global change. The Turn Your World Around website allows teens to connect to local, grassroots causes from around the world and turn their passions into action using the Turn-Your-World program. Kids can also get involved in our current initiatives, such as H.O.P.E. (Helping Orphans Pursue Education), which works to provide orphans in India and Sudan with the opportunity to reach their full potential, or [Connect a Kid], a project that seeks to redefine the quest for global education by increasing access to education in developing countries.
