The Drop-Inn center:
The Drop-Inn center is the first project of the YAC. It is still in beginning planning stages, but the vision is clear. It will be a place for youth grades 6 and up to come to after school. The YAC plans to make it an awesome and safe place for teens. While hanging out at the center, youth will have the opportunity to learn about and take advantage of Turning Point's services. The center will provide refreshments, referral services, and occasional educational activities. It will be staffed by an adult over the age of 21 and teen peer counselors.
