The Problem

UCSD has the less population of minority students attending which is the reason this Raza Youth Conference is taking place because we want to encourage more minority students to get a higher education and go to college.

Plan of Action

I am involve in a organization on campus called Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano/a de Aztlan (MEChA)where yearly a High School Conference takes place for minority students. This conference holds workshops, keynote speakers, and volunteers. We believe this conference helps many students achieve their dreams of going to college. It has changed the life of many students who are now attending a University.
