The Problem

The creation of a club for an Afghan Teen crowd so they can work on volunteering, teamwork, and voice. The club hopes to build a bond between the Afghan-American community and our community back home. Also by working with other Afghan clubs, the club would encourage other Afghans to go to college and to help further the club’s efforts.

Plan of Action

First, the club would create a connection with a specific school in Afghanistan. Then for a duration of a year, items such as books, clothes, school supplies, etc., would be sent there. The website would establish a place for club members and other interested teens to know what is going on. Also, it would give others access to calendars with upcoming events. In addition, it would construct off the original purpose of the club by providing more information on Afghan culture, the newsletter, past recipes, and links to other stories. Etsy.com: is a website where you can sell and buy handcrafted items. In addition through Etsy, the club would sell handcrafted items inspired by Afghanistan.
