The Problem

I am trying to solve the issue of discrimination through a art piece that displays the cultures of the University that I attend. I have been working on this project for the past three years and have shopped it around to all related department at the University of New Mexico. Sadly there where no funds or "budget issues" that did not allow this to go on display like i hoped and as many other organizations wanted it to as well.

Plan of Action

This art piece is to be presented at the University of New Mexico as well as displayed; either as a traveling piece or permanent portrait. It will include a statement and reason of being (Mission Statement). Also what has been discussed by many organizations is a International Student Day, which most Universities have, which will hold the place for the unveiling of this design. This day would be a multi-cultural day that would help promote and explain why this project is important to the student body of University of New Mexico. Answering any questions that may arise of how it will affect the campus climate in a positive way, bringing light to the issues of race and international cultures . This will also include why this project was designed and developed.
